The 19th Venice Architecture Biennale, curated by Carlo Ratti, unfolds under the theme “Intelligens: Natural. Artificial. Collective.” This edition delves into the evolving intersections between technology, ecology, and human collaboration in architectural practice. Ratti's vision transforms Venice into a dynamic "Living Laboratory," emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches that bridge architecture with engineering, biology, data science, and the social sciences .

The Biennale features over 750 participants from 65 countries, including inaugural pavilions from Togo, Oman, Qatar, and Azerbaijan. These new entrants highlight a commitment to diverse narratives and global inclusivity in architectural discourse .
